Guys,
Posting on behalf of a friend, who will no-doubt be along to join you all in the near future;
He has, this weekend, collected a mk5 GTI as a replacement for his wife's fiat 500.
The car is a great spec, with what i would consider all of the "tough to retro fit" options (such as sunroof, xenons and leather) specified.
What it doesn't have, which would have made it perfect, are a couple of the "easier to retro fit" options, such as MFSW and highline trip computer.
So, getting to the point, whilst he and I are quite capable in stripping a car down, replacing bits and putting it back together (and VAGCOM coding) we need some pointers in where to start.
What's the process for retro-fitting the highline computer?
What do we need in terms of a shopping list?
Where do we source these parts from?
Same questions with regards to MFSW
Lastly, is there anything to be gained by doing the jobs individually or at the same time?
Thanks guys,
Si
