Touran tdi 140 engine viable option for mk4 golf

hoping someone can help me out with some advice! im looking at collecting my mk4 shell soon and was thinking about what engines to use?  i possibly have access to  a accident damaged touran with the tdi 140 engine!  would this be useable with the loom etc for my project? just like the idea of a pokey diesel for a change! are these engines the same a sthe golfs just using different mounts?  cheers

Touran is based around a mk5 I believe so you may need the complete loom and dash.
