polish alloy wheels
« on: 06 March 2011, 18:37 »
So I have a set of (bloody awful) 15" alloys on my mk4. They are the standard 5 (fat) spoked ones. Theres no real curbing etc. I've bought myself a pot of this dandy stuff
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Meguiars-NXT-All-Metal-Polish-Alloy-Chrome-Wheels-/350106583454?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5183fa819e#ht_1907wt_982

Is it anygood to bring the wheels up nice and shiny? Is it best to use my DA Buffer on them or do it by hand?

Any input greatly appreciated............

So Mr. Haze, are you saying that what I've recently purchased isn't that good then? I haven't used it yet to be honest, and I'm liking what you have reckomended. I guess what I'm trying to say is, do I send the Megs back and get the Britemax, or will the Megs do just as good a job??

i havent used the megs stuff personally but havent read any good reviews either, the metal twins on the other hand i do use and cant fault them for there cleaning power and finish they give to metal. theres reviews on DW on these.
now you'veordered it you might aswell use it, sending it back and ordering the metal twins will just cost you more money. keep in mind for when you next buy some;)
