It is slightly darker but not as noticable in the flesh. The camera seemed to pick it out better.

All finished but the colour match ain't good enough for my liking. The match I got with my standard valances was much better so I'm going to try again 2moro.

Here's a little pic of how it looked for about 5 mins before I decided it wasn't good enough.

Can't wait to get a better match and have it on the car properly

Tried to get a better colour match today but the process I tried didn't work so I'm kinda stuck with it as it is at the moment. I lightly sanded back the lacquer then add a couple more coats of paint that had been warmed and shaken thoroughly. I'm gunna leave it as it is for the time being and crack on with the rear one I have. If i can get a good match on that then I will sand the front one back to primer and get all fresh paint on it and hope that works. Failing that they will be sitting in my garage until I can afford to get the sprayed properly

look good mate. u know some paints even in the same shade can look different when on different types of materials so it will be hard to get it 100% if the valance is texture different to the bumper or metal body work the way its looks will make it look slightly out. i think you done a good job to be honest . thumbs up!!

Totally agree with ya mate but I got a pretty good match when I sprayed my standard valances so will have one more attempt before I give up and let the professionals have a go.

ye fair enough. cudnt hurt to have another go can it.at least its not an entire bumper that wud be alot of work. have another go im sure you will be rewarded for your efforts. good luck matey!
