To be honest I don't know what my  is for, the fact that the thread has died or the fact that the OP felt that he couldn't continue, which I think is a tad dramatic!

It's not dramatic in anyway. The fact is that he put a thread up that some people may have been interested in about him putting a 20vt into a mk2.  Then some undesirables started mocking him about his choice of suspension and such.

What you must realise is that not everyone (including me) gives 2hoots about track days and that its all about aesthetics, hence the non-horizontal wishbones.

Frenno, if you are out there, resurrect this thread VIA JV, as he sorts out the dub projects, as I for one would love to see the finished project.

No, I do realise that, but putting one million BHP under the bonnet and then junking the handling's a rather dysfunctional route to go down, especially when you're insisting it'll get used for track days.....

I have rims & tyres for every occassion, polished rims for show, diamond cut and laquered for road and slicks for drag and track work, and of course the steelies for rolling around on during the build.

If the goon building it had posted

My wishbones weren't level, I got b!tchez.

They are fit.

Then that's cool, but trying to come across all hardcore if you're just going to play RWYB to show off to your mates occasionally is going to get lampooned.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Thing is it's a shame he has left the forum, but I would think DiamondHell knows what he is talking about (even though I don't understand the majority of what he says) just a shame he seems to have the personality of a rock :undecided: I'm guessing people frustrate you when they slam cars to the ground etc ... but is there not a way you could tone it down a bit more? People might actually take your advice then instead of just thinking you're a  cu n t :afro:

It's a 1.6 MK3 with solid discs and a very heavy subwoofer in the boot.

I don't think I'll be taking it to any RWYB, especially as I can't afford the tyres.

If I did, I'd save for some track day wheels and tyres, strip it and raise it.
