went out in a IHI'd 1.8T mk2 today, absolutely nuts. I give it a week before you're ripping the box out to fit an LSD

2871 for me is just extra lag as the peak hp is not what I'm chasing, hence going for the .63 instead of the .82 rear - power under the curve is more important

As for LSD, that's going in when I smash the box to pieces  which probably wont be long considering the current box cost £21 off Ebay

New brake lines going on tomorrow, might even get its first test drive (fingers crossed) I want to get it to GTI Spring Festival at the Pod in 2 weeks, even if I have to trailer it!

Shame it'll handle like shyte because you won't be able to put the power down and the geometry's all wrong.

At least it'll go with those shat stretched tyres.

I look forward to seeing this upsidedown in a field before too long.

Nice engine install BTW.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Shame you a total dribbler and have no clue

I have rims & tyres for every occassion, polished rims for show, diamond cut and laquered for road and slicks for drag and track work, and of course the steelies for rolling around on during the build.

Fill me in on your wisdom re geometry - ride height? Bumpsteer? You may as well be specific and/or constructive or shut the hell up and you got far more chance than anyone here of being on your roof in a muddy puddle, hopefully not drowning

7 x 16" 195/40 16 Yoko's

Also found a low mileage 02A last week which is being fitted with a LSD by Hotgolf on CGTI to get the power down
