I've been following this one. Seems to of calmed down at the 8k mark. I've no doubt it'll break 10k easily when the final part of the auction looms.

As I've said to you guys before - if you want one of these rare Golfs - you need to get out of this rip off country and import one. Its really not that difficult.

considering you can buy them in italy for 5.5k (your info), they are certainly not worth 8k. (a 3k premium atm for flying out to italy with a friend. hiring a car, and then 4 tanks of squirt back to the uk, 1 ferry trip, and a drive home).
