make sure ECON is ON, mine was really bad, changed the pollen filter made no difference, checked for leaks there were none, i was told that my air con needs re-gased, as the climate control in golfs has always got the air con on, unless you press the ECON button your air con system is on. i aint had mine re'gassed yet but just having econ on has made the world of difference for me. hope that helps
