Certainly the dampers are...probably one of thje best you can buy.
I'd probably match them to Eibach or H&R springs...for a good handling set up...but not mega low.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

One of my VR6 has Bilstein B6, with HR springs. Its a very ''stiff'' setup. You really get to know all the potholes  Im running the standard rims with 205/50-15.

Excellent choice, eibach springs are the better choice.

bilstein black are standard o.e replacements and yellow are the sport versions. As far as I'm aware bilstein don't make there own springs and if they come as a sport kit with black shockers it's not really a sport kit (shockers are not shortened so you loose some ride comfort as they will be mid way through there compression)

I can say eibach springs are good (I had some -40mm sportline versions) and the recomended shocks are boge (eibach use these to develop there springs)
