DIY Rotary Content Inside
« on: 03 March 2011, 19:24 »
Had a go at polishing my mates car at weekend, not many before pics but quite a few afters.

I'm open to help and ideas of how i can improve, this is my third time using the rotary.

Products used were megs #83 and a sonus sfx1 pad, then megs #80 using a sonus sfx3 pad,the roof and bonnet got a pass with #80 and a lake county final finish pad. After polish we applied P21s paint cleanser
Dodo Red Mist then 2 coats of Dodo Purple Haze Wax.

Overall the car was clean, doused the car with apc, rinsed then washed.Went over it with a clay bar then rinsed again.Pulled the car inside and taped up ready for the carnage.

The only before pic that i can find.

That quarter proved quite tough and had to use some megs#4.

After

DONE

My arms were so sore i could barely hold this towards the end
