Caliper choice help
« on: 03 March 2011, 18:51 »
I'm now wanting to upgrade the brakes. Basically I need something that will perform better than the 288mm I have now but I want a narrower caliper. I don't no measurements but I need a set up the doesn't stick out as much as the standard calipers with new pads. does that make sense?
I would like some 4 pot Hi spec's.
Does anyone know anything about this?
 thank you

all correct fit brakes will be designs to fit the original wheel offset so they will all stick out (b.t.w et43 is o.e)

can i ask why you need better brakes?

two reasons
1. I want a tfsi engine conversion
2. I need a 15mm spacer to make my front wheels clear the caliper. I want to run a 10mm spacer for clearance with the arch.

Why not switch to the 312mm set up.
