if you have a haynes manual it gives the testing procedures there, set multi to dc20v take off plug to csv and put mutimeter probes onto plug pins, with engine cold crank it and you should see a voltage on multi meter, cant remember what the voltage is but depending on how cold it is the voltage will only show for a maximum of 10secs iirc, if your not getting any voltage then check wiring from csv plug to thermo timeswitch, timeswitch i think controls voltage to csv as it senses coolant temperature.
tts testing involves checking resistance across terminals of sensor and voltage at plug. use ohms setting for resistance across terminals
