Hi everyone

I really hope u can me the problem is with the rear passenger window,
it began with the window only going down even when pressing the up switch,
pressing and the up switch twice and holding it depressed the window goes up,
but when releasing the switch the window travels back down an equal amount
now its stopped working altogether.

My passanger window was playing up in a similar way. I fixed it but i cant remember which way i did it. It was either check the all the fuses in the fuse box and replace where necessary, or remove the ecu relay (see haynes manual to identify which one it is) for a couple of minute and replace (with the original; doesn't have to be new, it justs resets the ecu). I did both jobs at the same time as my central locking was playing up at the same time...
Hope it works for you too!

tried this but no luck :(
thx

I forgot to mention this b4.
I turned the motor by hand and the window
travels completely up and down without a problem.

Check the wires where they enter the door via the rubber . They have a tendancy to wear .

sounds like either a dodgy connection to the motor or a dodgy motor to me

This happened to me too.  The wires were pinched and had snapped where the rubber housing is between door and frame. .  Repaired, but this was temporary and they still play up.
