bit of an update, seeing as though the rear door on drivers side had some wires cut in the loom (common ) i though i might aswel make a start, which i did and it was a right pain in the a55 to take the loom out after 5mins of fighting with it, it finaly came out. i soldered some new wires in and taped them up. while i was doing that i noticed that the rear tweeter needed replacing, as i already had some power acoustik tweeters in the back i thought id take them out and put them into where the standard 1's were, il let the pitchers to the talking

Removed the old tweeters out and took the grill out, then smoothed the edging out and began to trial fit:





when i was happy with the position:




I started to plastic solder wasnt so hard just the fumes got me high (lol):










Then just to be on the safe side i put some hot glue arouns the edges:

got a FAT parcel through the post today morning







will be fitting them later today and hope that sorts the creaking/nocking noise when the cars crawling

fitted them bushes sorry no pics, was a DODDLE! piece of piss. my couine helped me out and had a ramp and all the farking tools. the car is alot softer on the front but my cousine said after a few hundred miles and it will be settled. the old bushes had wv & audi stampped on them, and they were solid and had cracks on them and when i took them out they were at an angle. But im liking the ride now. knocking is still there. i wanted to know if i can get uprated drop links and uprated lower ball joints. will get pics of the battered bushes tommorow.

i thought id keep this thread alive an update it. as some may know i got some leather door cards from a black highline. cleaned and polised the leather with some lord sheatons leather balm. waiting for the weather to get better so i can fit them in. also fitted some LED's in the door cards (puddle light)

also i fitted some new LED's in the interior map light and in the rear lights from a mk4 that i had sprayed black.

il let the pics do the talking.












as you can see in the pic the interior map light is very bright, will take pics tonight in the dark from outside so you can ee how bright the interior lghts up lol






got one of the heater controls & the switches will need to make them better.








will be doing my alloys next week but not sure on the colour, was thinking about gun metal grey with abit of sprakle and the M7 bolts cleaned up so they goldish colour.

if anyone can tell me any colours i would be greatful.

Great work, love the headlining and interior/map lights....

however..

IMO I don't think the red goes well inside the car, seatbelts should be black and the heater lights etc should be blue/white or if you can get them purple.

as for the wheels I like them the way they are
