Nokia in car phone
« on: 28 February 2011, 22:31 »
In the GTI, there is the factory fitted Nokia phone, controllable on the steering wheel and theorugh the sat nav screen.
When I bought the car, the seller couldn't find the phone to go in the docking station on the dash.
I have a Blackberry and wondered if there is a way of purchasing an adapter so it could fit in and use the existing system, or is it a qustion of fitting a new system altogether?

short answer no. easier and better to get a parrot or similar bluetooth system, then you can use with any phone in future.

Just to bring this back up, you can purchase and adapter from VW or find it on eBay for your specific phone, it fits on the front of the cradle you have and then you slip your phone in...
