Get a new expansion tank! Everyone misses it out with rebuilds, and it makes a massive difference to cleanliness of the whole bay.  :cool:

Fitted the exhaust which was said to have previously been fitted to a mk3 but i don't think it had, as i had to get the hanger welded in a totally different place. Then finished off the undersealing, painted the gearbox, and suspension.

it's got so much underseal on it should add about 2 seconds to the 0-60!  :grin:

Well that's the bodywork done just needs machine polishing. just got to fit cam belt and a few suspension parts and it is done  :smiley: now got to find a new front bumper for TT after hitting a badger  :angry:

Thanks, yeah glad it's back together. Going to swap the red front GTi badge for a chrome one when it  finally arrives from Wolfsburg, only been waiting 2 months!

ordered front and rear badges from VW Heritage in january they get the parts direct from VW Classic parts in Wolfsburg, I got the rear badge a fortnight ago but still no front   :sad:
