That's not too bad, was considering doing mine when I can't do other things.   What kit did you get, did it cost much?

i used a drill with a sanding disc to smooth the rough casting then various wet and dry paper from 320 grit to 1200 then got a polishing kit from halfords for £14,99 but they are cheaper on ebay.

I've got the polishing bug so after work nipped to the local scrap yard and got a new rocker cover, it does need a bit more of a polish as it isn't quite good enough yet.

finished polishing the rocker cover, then decided to do the air meter as well. then fitted the front wings.
