took the scuttle cover off and waxoyl'd inside then fitted bonnet, boot and lights. found some front mud flaps and pollen filter housing(as mine just had a grille being an early model) from the local scrap yard.

Running without bumpers only looks ok on a MK1.  :grin:

Good thinking with the wax oil, under my scuttle panel is mint, but still a good idea!

Polished the idle control valve and gear link weight, fitted a 7 litre washer bottle (i only had a 4 litre bottle) and wrapped my fog lights in yellow tint.
