HELP! Removing Mk6 top grill!
« on: 26 February 2011, 16:18 »
In removing front bumper on my Mk6 I'm stuck with the top grill.

4 screws removed but won't budge or pull forward as diagram shows.

Anyone know whats holding it, nothing obvious that I can see like clips etc.  Naturally don't want to break anything!

Thanks in advance
CHB

You have to pull h a r d for it to come out, it's painful but it will detach in the end

Too bl**dy right!! got there in the end (an hour) Tight so and so. One end just wouldn't budge. Thanks for reassurance you just have to pull it!

Mine was the same, the O/S just didn't want to budge, hung off it and hey presto, hurt my fingers though.
