Best Coolant System Flush?
« on: 24 February 2011, 21:57 »
Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a good coolant system flush? My DX engine is in a camper van and the long metal coolant hoses had perished and the van had been sat with just water and no anti freeze for a long time.

Result:

Advice much appreciated thanks

Non Biological washing powder, a strong mix put into the system, and run for half hour or so, then a thorough flush with a hose pipe...

No, it works, not a joke,
Randomly picked from Google, varying opinions, but you'll get the picture http://www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk/archive/index.php/t-201343.html
