Why not buy a standard frill or debadged grill for like a £10 and then wrap that with some vinyl chrome for 1/4 of the price would give you an idea then you might wanna spend out £45 on something more longlasting. How about a chrome sunstrip?

TBH stainesy i quite like the chrome touches. Makes it stand out in a crowd of mk3's i suppose lol! With the wheels, mirrors and front fog units i think the grill will look the danglies as its only chrome edges rather than the entire thing!
The black and chrome looks well on your car so i say horlicks to it! Finish what you started!

Only thing you gotta remember is, if you put anything chrome on your bonnet the sun will reflect off that mother flicker right into your mince pies!!!
