River in my car?
« on: 23 February 2011, 21:02 »
I'm either going mad or I'm sure when I'm sitting in the car with engine running I can hear water moving around.  :undecided:

Sounds like I'm sitting on top of a drain sometimes with water trickling down?

Am I mental or us this somthing in the engine?

never heard that before

can you hear out from the outside?

check all the fluid holding containers (Radiator, windscreen washer, oil ect.) to see if any have gone down alot in the last few days.

its really wierd

ive heard it a few times but now im getting worried. Could it be the water pump pumping water around the car? sounds like its coming from behind the glove box when im sitting in the driving seat.

no wet carpets or leaks from under the car that i know of, but it has been raining for the past 3 months so hard to tell

i would say somethings leaking into the heater matrix to be honest.. get a garage to check it out.. probably need a new one.. as in my mk4 the heaters were ace and red hot..

Sounds like it could the heater matrix or a blocked drain somewhere.
