Im geting 34 to the gallon with a standard setup. Not had my car long so engine mods are on the way. Most of my driving is motorway which saves a lot of fuel but I still give the old girl a good thrashing!

DVLA have f@cked the records up on my car. I actually did near enough sell it. The winning bidder rang me on Monday morning to say he was coming down to get it but wanted to do a HPI check while he was on his way down. He was from Liverpool, im in Leicester so as you can see its quite a drive. He rang me at 9.30am and said he was leaving at 10.00 and would be at mine for around 1.00pm. I then get a phone call at 11.00am while he was on his way down to say that the HPI company rang him and told him that my car had done 72.000 miles in Aug 04!!!   thats what happend. I told him this can't be as I purchased it way before that date and said its only done 65.000 miles at the moment, with FVWSH. He turned around and went home, he didn't believe me, he thought i'd clocked it back.

I rang DVLA, they said thay can't do anything about it and gave me the number for Experion (AA) HPI company. So I rang them and said "what the F@CK is going on??" They told me that as it was first registered to a VW finance company they estimated the annual milage. They said I need to send them some proof of the milage so they can amend/correct their records and ALSO told me that it would take 8-12 weeks to get this corrected!!!

So I've sent off a copy of my MOT certificate. But now im stuck with the car for around another 2-3 months

F@CKIN wayne kerrS!!!

I thought about putting in the auto trader, but it'll be a waste of advertising money because most people are gonna hpi it.

Went to Wales on Saturday and got 380 miles without the fuel light coming on. The computer said 33.2mpg average, the car has been chipped to around 207bhp. That was at a steady 75-80mph.
