Hi I have a 99 Gti non turbo and I was wondering if an dial set from a later golf (the ones with the red trip display in the middle) would this just plug and play or require coding?

You would need the keys coding to the cluster if it is an immo2 one you replace it with or if the new one is immo3 you will need the immobiliser coding in the cluster too.
