From what I understand, Lazylunatic can get vinyl at a good price.  I wish I'd known that before I bought mine. Haha

lol!! Well I'm just asking out of curiosity mate, I'm strapped for cash. But its something too consider in the near future, dint buy my car because I liked the colour, needed one fast, wouldnt settle for less than a golf. And I got my car for a steal in my opinion for 3k. Gona take good care of this beauut! lol

I just meant before I bought my vinyl.  The great thing about Vinyl is that it has made colour changes a much more viable option as a mod.

House of Kolor must do something.  There's a really good place in Rayleigh that makes paints too, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

Cheers!

Here's one for Oli:

How would you reccommend spraying your wheels?

Do they need etch priming?

Actually I didnt do mine in the "proffessional" way. I simply went down to halfords picked a colour and bought a few cans. with a quick rub down with wet and dry to key the surface they came out great with a couple of coats and a good polish. I just painted the ford Ivory white straight over the black and with 2 coats and it was great.

I painted another set silver which required lacquer and did that the same way and again looked really good.

But I'm sure there will be proffesional painters on here that will tell you the right way to do it.

I also reckon the gold centres will complement dragon green bodywork.

Haha.  The way you typed that seemed a bit formal, I've edited it for you...

To whom it may concern,

In reply to your previous correspondence in relation to the colour of the aforementioned wheels I too believe that the gold centres will complement dragon green bodywork pf your motor vehicle.

Yours sincerely

Well... These are set to arrive tomorrow!

I'll get some more detailed pictures up and post my thoughts up as I unbox them.

I'm really excited.

I'm thinking about getting some G60 centres to slap on them.

When I've got them sprayed and rubbered up, you'll be able to see them on the car.

Yeah, they look really nice in person.

I'll take some pics when I come back from work.

I've got a couple, but I want some of the backs of the wheels.
