Just joined and hope someone can help!
I've recently purchased a 2005 mk5 GTi and think there may be a problem with it.
When lifting off the accelerator there is a slight delay (a fraction of a second) before the engine totally backs off - is this normal?
I've recently changed the Turbo recirculator valve for a Forge one as the diaphram was split (a common problem I gather) and was hoping that the new valve may solve the problem but it's made no difference.
Could it be down to a faulty MAF sensor?
