Well, I never thought I'd do it, but yesterday I bought a mk4
Late 2000 1.8T (AUM)
12 months MOT
2 owners (an Architect, and before that a good friend)
Pretty much FSH with a load of receipts
2 new Yokahama tyres (with decent matching rears), new front discs and pads
1 month old battery
recent (enough) cambelt and waterpump done at VW
Recaro interior, CD changer, AC
EVERYTHING works!
I'm chuffed to bits with it tbh, the only downsides are that it has done 173k and needs a coilpack (already on order), but this was more than reflected in the price I paid
The guy even delivered it to me!
