interior light in the boot help please

Evening all

I damaged the plastic fitting that is spring loaded that obviously pushes in and out in order to turn the light on and off :wink:

I do not know what the parts called i am needing to replace but have seen this part on the big boys toys site... is this what i need???

sorry i cannot give u a shortcut too it as im not all that tecko :embarassed: :embarassed:

Interior light switch, Golf Mk2, Boot lid not door pillar

I am Not a tight arse, but no way I am paying £4+ for postage for a small bit of platic with a spring in, that's a complete rip off, parts only £2.56....
Postage with weight of it should be £1.20... :angry:

Anyone got one on here please...

You didn't knock it and the pin has stuck in did you? this is supposed to happen, so the tailgate can be left in the up position, and not flatten the battery
