Cheers dude. More coming up in the none too distant. Got onto AVS as my parts haven't arrived. Allegedly they are turning up tomorrow (hurrah) so they will be added to the pile of new bits to be fitted which is next to the pile of reconditioned parts, which in turn is next to the bits to be reconditioned, which is opposite the huge pile of parts that may, or may not be, useful at some point in the future in the spare room. I can see why my Mrs gets exasperated...

Having said that I hoping to get the loan of an engine stand so I can wallop my ABf on there to fiddle with. Made a list of bits I need for it which including VR6 clutch etc is running at 350.00 odd quid in parts alone  Sure I can do something about that though.

Fitted new plugs, leads, oil and filter to the KR. Has returned some of the "GTiness" it's been missing for last hundred miles or so. Running on about 3.5 cylinders is going to take the edge off performance.

Not much of an update but as I have plague I'm not doing anything to the car.

However, these finally turned up. 4x new wheel bearings.

Got to get the Audi MOT fit then the mk2 will be getting a few days off whilst I get the front bearings pressed in, rear bearings are getting done too. Then I'll be fitting my new welded wishbones, R32 bushes and new ball joints. Should make a bit of a difference overall.

Right other deal is on the back burner for time being. Mk2 has been lying unloved outside my folks so thought I'd better get on with it. Friday should see 4 shiny new wheel bearings fitted as the back one let go in fair spectacular fashion. Will fit my new ball joints and wishbones when I cn have the car off the road for a weekend unfortunately the way things are working out that won't happen for a while yet. Have located a local company to setup tracking/ camber properly so that'll get done once it's all back together.

Been offered NOS 16v exhaust so probably going to swap that out to make motorway cruising a bit more refined. Also got a G60 g/box to swap onto the ABF as it's got longer ratios, have also aquired a new pillar drill and tool cabinets. However still waiting to hear about garage space so only essential stuff is getting done at the mo'.

Wheel bearings done front and rear. Makes the car feel a fair bit newer. Still looks an absolute state though, need to fit the heavy duty exhaust rubbers now as the old stop gap "get me home" repair has broken after 2months of abuse :embarassed:

Audi passed MOT with flying colours  Makes me wonder why I bother with old VW's sometimes

Collected a new van tonight for my old boy, so big bits can be moved far more easily now :lipsrsealed:

My accidental Ebay win arrived yesterday. I'll need to put up some pic's.

Broke another Alt belt.

Need to get my tracking sorted asap too.

Started fabricating my TDi style s/s backbox.
