Saw some of this in non official threads....  Fantastic work, love seeing proper work on a proper car.

IF MOT man doesn't like your repeaters now, you can give him a slap from me!

Cheers Shaun, and consider it done! They'll be getting a slap anyway from me too. The fcukers managed to break my door lock whilst it was in last time. What is it with garages and golf door handles?

Cheers, yeah unless it's pre 87 I wouldn't remove the wing repeaters unless either, you have a spare pair of wings or the MOT tester is a close personal friend but even then it's a bit dodgy.

Car is looking proper rough just now but ironically it is in the best structural condition it's been in for many years.

Now to get organised with the paint job...

Yeah I was but unfortunately I had to move out today  Was a big favour from a mate to have it in there over the winter. He's going to get the leakyass roof fixed now that the better weather is here. He's also talking about redoing the floor as it's not level. Digging some better drains. Painting the floor. Fitting a new door. Adding on a wee workshop to the rear. There's even talk of insulating it once it's properly water tight

Wish I had the ground/ house to build something.  :undecided:

Aw, cheers man . I just got accepted to start my VRQ in Body and Paint, so this is good practice.

Eventually, the dream is to open my own shop where no corners are cut and the best of old school skills are combined with cutting edge technology. Still loads to learn and skills to hone but I intend to be the best in the country in a few years.
