So the new 2011 TT has the engine from the mk6 GTI, with Audi's Valve lift system...same BHP at 210, but torque is 350nm instead of 280nm in the GTI...feels really nice. Wonder why they won't put in the Golf..

I never really understood why there was two version of the EA888 engines from the start either.
I guess Audi just wanted to keep the best engine for themselfs and gave VW the poormans version :evil:
