VW approved Kenwood (alternative to RNS-510)
« on: 17 February 2011, 13:27 »
Hi All,

Thinking of replacing my headunit, and can get the new Kenwood unit through a VW contact for a very good price (cheaper than a retrofit 510).

Anyone got one fitted?  Or done a direct comparison to 510?

I already have a Bury bluetooth unit, which is first class and so want to know the bluetooth is as good?

Any thoughts welcome!

Regards

Andy

Well I can get one fitted at cost by VW dealer in Manchester but I have heard you can get them fitted for about 900 quid. Try haggling ;-)

My ED 30 came with with a Pioneer AVIC-F920BT & it's great. Got all of the U.K., Irealand & all of Europe instaled wich works perfect & also plays DVD's & has Parrot hands free built in.  http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/images/ds-Pioneer-AVIC-F920BT.jpg
