Wot do u lot think my black mk3 gti will look like de archd? Its not lowerd and is on 16" rx2s, im not sure wether it will look ok as its just on standard suspension, opinions please lads :-}

Well, would look better lowered, why dont you just lower it? Would look ok though if the car is nice and clean.

Cant afford to lower it im out of work at the min :-( the car is very clean but dont want it to make it look daft with it not lowerd. Shame there isnt a diy lowering trick lol only got mobile for internet so cnt even search for a pic

You could get some really cheap lowering springs? Or cut yours!  :lipsrsealed:

Keep an eye out on here and on ebay. Id just de arch it if you want to anyway - cars are always an ongoing project.

I will look cleaner without the arches however not lowered will mean a big gap.

Cutting springs is bad isnt it lol i do like the arches just wonderd what it would be like without them if it would look better or not

You could do with finding out what state your arches are in under the trims first, my rear offside arch is nearly none existant under the trim  :cry: Also when you remove them they normally leave a line in the paint work where the top of the trim sits, think this will polish out with a bit of work but something you need to consider. And, yes lowered and de-arched looks quite nice, standard stilt suspension not too sure, I have some Jamex lowering springs still boxed up, think they are 35mm front 25mm rear drop, you cna have em for £20 if you want  :cool:

Im low on cash at the min mate and my cars not taxed but i would swap u them springs for a set of montreal1s if u could deliver lol
