VAG COM
« on: 11 February 2011, 21:30 »
How are most people getting things that need to be done through VAG COM done?

Has anyone actually bought the relevant software/cable or are most people going to a VW dealer?

And if they are going to a dealer what sort of prices are they charging for their time on VAG COM?

Where are you located?

Vag Com isn't a dealer tool, although some do have them.

I wouldn't have thought that any dealer would have VAG-COM

It appears they use VAS 5051 or something similar.

If they come out with a laptop its more or less certain its VCDS and all my local dealers have it.
Its the cost of them having both VW tools that make them also look at VCDS.
