This might be a silly question just bare with me 

When my GTI comes will an ipod plug into the the radio enabling me to sift through and play whatever music i like off it?

If this is the case i'll invest in an ipod

If this is the case i'll invest in an ipod 

Yes you'll be able to plug it in to your sound system and play you tunes, with full track listings and names etc.

Get a big memory iPod and make sure you copy songs at a high bit rate as the crappy sound from the stereo will need all the help it can get
