removing hand brake

as above really, need to take mine out to fit a new surround. any usefull tips on removing and refitting?

None needed really, is a piece of pish :wink: Couple of screws behind the rear ashtray, and lift up. Simples!

spose i should have said its cause im fitting a US spec arm rest thingy and say i do need to remove the hand brake. didnt have enough caffine

Still the same in principle although they need a dedicated bracket to fit onto the original mounting points. (Im trying to source one myself)

ahh ok. i have the bracket (only one though) but i can see if there is a part number on it when i get home if that helps, he gave me the part number for the whole unit so ill put the numbers up tonite mate
