isnt this a step back ?  wont a 3.5 be heavier than a 3, and not handle as well  :undecided:

the green car looked cool...

Yes yes and yes mate lol

but they don't make a 3.5 cab so there ain't that many around,
I've always wanted one,
think how much we all love the sound of the VR then think of how much better it will sound with no roof
I'll just have to make it faster
And the main one I did it cuz I wanted too lol

Pros out do the cons in my eyes mate :)

I get it. Get a pic of the 1.6 in the other bay.

Looking sweet tho mate.

Have you had it running long?

Can't you just swap the chips in the keys?

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

Only finished the wiring today mate :)

It started the cut out because the immobiliser cut in

Not as simple as swapping the chips as I decoded my old transceiver because I lost my only chip,
So when I fitted the ecu to the mk4 all was ok and I thought I'll just swap the boxes over but there different. Also I would like the immobiliser working again so I'll bring the magic box of tricks home with me from work tomorrow and get it all coded up.

Only things left to do are

Splice mk4 head light loom with the mk3 loom

Bleed brakes

Fit new n/s drive shaft

Bit of a tidy round the engine bay then it's good to go

well i must say this is fairly epic work!! all done in record time too by the looks of things!

now.. the lights you took out of the dragon green... even though you thought they were chavvy... were they Hella Celis? IF so they are worth quite a bit so hope you didn't bin em?

not 100% on why you are breaking the dragon green beast (i liked it)... but I cannot argue with your justifications... 'because I wanted to' is a great rationale

10/10
