Snifferdog's Mk4 GTI.......
« on: 06 February 2011, 20:01 »
Picked this up this afternoon. What a great, well built car. The engine bay is mint and theres loads of new stuff on it - exhaust, brakes, HID's (dont know much about these?! Are they easy to take off and sell?),tyres etc so Im well happy. It is nowhere near what could be considered fast or involving but it feels good and sturdy for the mrs and the baby! Not got any of my own pics yet cos it was dark by the time I got home but will hopefully get some better ones up soon.

Plans are to lower it a very sensible amount and put some nice wheels on it. Thats as far as Ive got so far.

Yes mate, its the 1.8 20v n/a. Its in really good condition. Youve just reminded me - I need some new number plates too.  The mk3 8v was all over it on the way home, it really isnt quick.

Oh, and I need GTI badges.

Just some nicer mk4 standard alloys I think. Id like some anni's but doubt the cash flow is gonna allow that for a while.
