« on: 06 February 2011, 16:35 »
Hi folks

Just bought myself a mk3 2.0 golf gti 16v and having problems gettin a decent insurance quote.

Biggest problem being I am only just 19 so am sure that's not helpin

best quote I have had so far is 2k.

Anyone know a decent company who will go slightly cheaper

cheers craig

WTF! £3360 per annum

are you insane!? Not worth it at all, no matter how I try and look at it.  The breakdown cover is only worth £30-75 a year.

I'm not dissing a mk3 but you could get a far better car for your age with a better deal than that.

Spot on, that is madness, paying £3360 for a years insurance when the car is worth what £1k tops is never worth it.

Makes me feel old my years insurance is less than 1mths payment
