Rns 510 memory card limitations..........

Yes I know I work for VW and I should know but does anyone on here know if there would be a limit to the size of memory card you can put in and read from in the rns 510.

Have customer who just picked up a scirocco r and wants to fill up his hard drive with musis off his computer he does not have mdi because he spec'd 6 cd changer in armrest.

If anyone has used this method of uploading music to the hard drive can they let me know what size card worked or didn't work. I just have memories of only 2gb cards being compatible but cant think for the life of me why.

I have a 16GB working with no problems, it should take a 32GB with the latest firmware.

I think its firmware 2660 and above can cope with SDHC cards (4gb and above).
Anything below that will give a card error if you put in an SD card 4gb or above.
