Mine was 12 months old last week so I went into the dealers to book it in for the 10k service. I had the VW service plan £250 for 3 year so while its under warranty for 3 years they may as well do it. At the prices quoted above then its a very good deal.
I also said I'm still not happy the
clutch pedal pulsating (new thread) which I've talked about on other forums. He said they all do that its the dual mass flywheel. I said when I tested your GTD demo last year that didn't do it so I want it the same as that one. Oh it should have done it. I've also asked on forums if anyone elses does it and a few have said yes which will be about 20% so it not a know problem is it. He said we will check it again, bull.
For the past month I've notice after you use the read washer it dribbles down the screen for a few minutes. I know this is a common fault with the Golf but I've only hear of guys in the States with this problem, it looks like I'm the first in the UK.
I have a couple of other niggles but I won't clog this thread up.
