The R32 is lush, I think all the golf's look nice!

But it seems the 1.8T is one of the most popular!!

And you could get one of them, and get it maybe remapped twice, and maybe have the same power as an R32!

I duno guessing, but I think the interior is different lol!!!

I'd go for a 1.8T.  I've had one is a Passat and they are rapid, plus if you mod it you're not modding a car that is already a special edition.

i'll have a look into the 1.8T, not sure how far down the modding route i'll take though tbh, once you start modding cars dont you start having to upgrade certain parts to stop them breaking. Having owned a nightmare of MG ZR, reliability is my number one priority i'm fed up of having my car sat i the garage being fixed (its a running joke at work)
is the interior etc all the same outside, just engine size thats different?

Sorry, by modding I mean things like dropping it, wheels and so on.  Engine wise a remap and a few small mods would give you more than enough power.

Different models have different level of trims and such.

thanks for all the replies,  going to show my newbie status now... by 1.8 i'm assuming thats just a 1.8 turbo, rather than a certain edition of the golf as I can only find older golfs with the mention of 1.8t in the headers..... probably me
