gti coolant leak

hi all need some help had my 05 gti mot,d today and got a advisery on a coolant leak looks like its rd the bk of engine somewhere its nt major  was hoping someone has had this problem or new of a common fault.i am worried thats its somthing major.please help.

Search for a thread by AlanD - he had a very tiny coolant leak and it was sorted.  Some sort of flange was replaced

thanks it is small droping from max to min in a few weeks bt cant seach on my mobile.

Has your water pump been replaced yet?  I had a leak but no problems since cambelt and waterpump were replaced.

i dnt no cambelt was done b4 i bought the car and its nearly on 90 thousand now ive done 30 thousand in a year and a half its looks like its coming frm the back surely if it was pump wood b frm the side.

Fair enough, just a thought because mine had a small leak and that was at about 40k miles.  Hope you get it sorted.
