vr6 ECU PROBLEM??????

Hi ppl ive got a mk3 vr6 engine that was auto and ive made it manual. my ? is how do i get my ecu back to manual from auto??? can i just replace it with a other manual ecu with no bother?????? thanks lee

you will need a new ECU. The loom is possibly different also.

Im sure you wont be able to get it recoded to manual. Even if you could, the cost of getting a genuine manual ecu over a recode is going to be less any way.
