problems with my door handles Will love forever who ever helps lol

Hey guys i have having annoying problems with my door handles.
My old ones wouldn’t open the door without pushing the door in and then pressing the handle much skill needed in this .
so i got nice new ones and still having the same problem but the door won’t open now
when i go to open the door the handle moves and nothing happens the lock bit makes a noise but it doesn’t open ??
and if i tighten the screw on the inside of the door connecting to the handle the pull doesn’t move at all
any ideas and + the barrel in it doesn’t move at all anyone got pictures or anything i can see to help me resolve this issue

i reakon it will be the release mechanism mate rather than the handle itself

hmm gess i will have to take it all off and have a look so long lol

grease your catch it could be sticky

if they're pattern handles, throw them in the bin and get vw ones. put the old ones back on if they're genuine! but as above, grease up all the moving parts before you refit and they'll work just as good as new again.
