Removing front seats to clean the interior

Is it worth doing this? My interior carpet are quite dirty and I feel if I remove the front seats this will help me clean it properly. Is it hard to remove the seats? Does removing them upset the airbags and the airbag light? Any info on this will be much appreciated
Also any tips or product recommendations for bringing the carpet back to life?

id work round them personally but thats how ive been doing it for years, crevice tools and moveing the seat around to get to each area, you can reach all the areas under seat just get down there and get stuck in.
