Hella style quads missing something?
« on: 28 January 2011, 17:46 »
Does anyone have some nice clear shots of the reverse side of the quads? I have a set that don't seem to be Hella, and the two main lenses tilt up and down at will. Want to see what is missing, so I can get some, or try a bodge :D

Lovely. Thanks mate. I am missing the large adjusters from the bottom, outside corner (behind the coloured wires on the main light).
Anyone know where I can source some?

If they are hella you can buy them from a hella dealer, if not then depending on the make (morette are/were sold by abc autodesigns) but if there an obscure brand you will need to make something yourself
(t.b.h you may need to do this after seeing hella prices! )

How many do you need as I may have some spares in the shed from the third light in the link. I kept the spare one for bits   Let me know      Cheers

Am after 2 of the bigger ones. Under the red and yellow wire in the 7th pic. Would be awesome if you have a pair. Cheers :)

I will have a look in the shed, pretty sure I have one in the spare light and am also pretty sure the smaller ones are the same except for the plastic on the end which is bigger. Surely one of these would do the same and get the lights up and running. This any good to you ??

Have been up the shed and I only have 1 of these Mate. Its the larger one that you need and just clips in. The smaller ones are no good to you. However if you have this one I believe that with a small piece of all thread and some washers and nuts you could make one for the other light. If you want the one I have PM me with an offer for it Mate as I have no idea what these are worth.
