135 in a Mondeo TDCI I hired to get back from Heathrow. Took about 5 mins to get there from 120 though and didnt reach the red line. Was 5am on a sunday morning so nothing about except a few unfortunate rabbits!
Wouldnt chance it in any of my cars though as you can guarantee they would die a terrible death!

What do you mean? My 8v shows at least 140 when maxed out, it would have been faster but the needle got stuck! *

I think when overtaking a fair few cars on the motorway, slightly downhill. I hit 95 on the speedo? Felt like it didn't have that much more to give.

That was at a push. Before everyone waves the Jesus wand, yes it was speeding but I honestly just stick to 70 on the motorway (it's more effort keeping it faster.  ) but with all the two lorries over taking eachother and slow cars around, I felt far more safe and comfortable at the indicated 95.
