i "think" i have the same issue, i know i have a boost leak some where, i have the 17705 fault code aswell, and when driving im getting a noise from the drivers side, like a constant "bob-ob-ob-ob-ob-ob" noise (worst description ever? )

can hear it mainly at higher speed , especially on the motorway.

im booked in at a garge next thursday for other jobs but ill mention it to him and get him to check all my pipes

I would say boost leak still. Whip your bumper off of remove your drivers side vent and have a look at your intercooler.

Could also be the red pipe from the turbo to the pancake.
