strange sound !

Oks since i ve fitted my new master clutch cylinder i ve been getting a sound from under the bonnet, i say sound as i cant really describe it. It only happens when i have my foot down on the accelerator but not at slow speed the sound is like air rushing/blowing . . .i think.

When i did my master cylinder i removed the air pipe from the air box to next to the manifold and the elbo joint from the EGR to the intercooler. could i have disturbed something and coursed a boost leak or something like that ? but i havent noticed any power difference [i know with 90bhp you wouldn't lol] no smoke etc.

a bit like a whosh ! lol like air being pushed from drivers side and only when i am accelerating

Not overly loud but loud anuf to worry me ! i was thinking boost leak but i couldn't see any loose pipes or splits on the elbow joint from egr to intercooler which i had off  for when i did the master clutch cylinder

Dont know what to really say man ive not had me tdi for long if it was petrol i would say boost leak.. lol

Think ill have to strip the front down on the weekend and see what i can see. dose not really effect the car as in steering brakes or power [but so much traffic not really finding out]

take it for a blast and see if its holding back.. scanned it for codes ??
